TO LIMIT THE POTENTIAL EXPOSURE TO THE CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19), EAOP IS CANCELLING THE NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION


NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION

We invite all new 9th and 10th grade students the New Student Orientation to learn more about what it means to be an EAOP scholar. The orientation is a way for students and families to get to know the program better as well as interact with fellow EAOP students from across the Bay Area. The orientation will focus on the following topics:

  • Program History, Mission and Vision
  • School Site Advising Services
  • Academic Enrichment Programs
  • College Adviser-led Student Workshops
  • Parent Presentations (English/Spanish)
  • Parent Panels (English/Spanish)
  • Building Community

Light breakfast and refreshments will be provided during registration. Please note that there will NOT be any child care available during the orientation.

Saturday, March 14, 2020
8:30 AM - 1:00 PM
UC Berkeley Campus

The event is mandatory for all NEW 9th and 10th grade students and at least one parent/guardian. Due to limited capacity in the spaces that we will be in, we are requesting for families to try to limit the number of family members accompanying the student to one (1) per household.

PARKING INFORMATION

There are numerous parking structures around the University that families can utilize for the event. Please make sure to read any posted times/hours to avoid any potential tickets during the event.
