A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I was born in Santa Monica, California and moved to the Bay Area upon transferring to UC Berkeley. I come from immigrant parents and am extremely proud of my Mexican heritage. I enjoy cooking, dancing, and watching makeup tutorials on YouTube.
WHY I AM COMMITTED TO THIS WORK
My passion for and commitment to our youth was instilled in me in grade school. Seeing the inequalities within the school system and in my community inspired me to be part of the solution. Advocating for and educating others is part my daily life. I enjoy being part of a team that ensures students are being informed and given the resources needed to be successful and apply for college. I hope to be in a position one day to not only ensure students make it to college, but also graduate college.
I spent a summer in Washington D.C. interning on Capitol Hill and got to lead Capitol tours.
WORDS THAT GUIDE ME
Never settle for anything less than extraordinary. Believe in yourself.
