Adviser Fellow - Skyline HS
I am a recent 2015 graduate from the University of California, Berkeley where I studied Rhetoric and Peace and Conflict Studies. I was born and raised in Berkeley, CA and attended Berkeley High School. Living in the Bay Area has fueled my passion in wanting to improve the lives of the people that live here and I believe that education is a key component towards making this happen. As a first generation college student I understand the importance of education and more importantly, the significant role that college advisers have in helping their students get into college and achieve their goals, which is why I am excited about becoming a college adviser. My long-standing commitment to civil rights and my passion for advocating on behalf of underrepresented communities, especially the youth, has fueled my desire in wanting to become a youth dependency and/or delinquency attorney and eventually a federal state judge.
